Piping and Layout Designer (m/f) Warsaw / Gdansk

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating 3D models and design documentation for pipeline installations
  • Designing pipeline installations within the scope of services offered by VTU
  • Analyzing received tender inquiries, preparing technical offers, and estimating the necessary work required to complete a given project
  • Contacting the Investor and Contractor regarding the ongoing project
  • Coordinating design work related to piping and related disciplines
  • Leading and being responsible for the team within the piping project
  • Preparing necessary calculations for installations, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with approved construction drawings and specifications
  • Conducting authorship supervision and inspections at the construction site
  • Willingness to participate in international projects
  • Short delegations within Europe
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems will be an asset

    What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational background in Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetics, or food plant sectors
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, REVIT, Autodesk Plant 3D, or Aveva E3D
  • Knowledge of additional design software (e.g., Smart Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Rohr2) will be an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Fluent Polish and English required; knowledge of Ukrainian or German will be an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent time management and organizational abilities
