The VTU Group renames its subsidiary RED Engineering into VTU Design Solutions. Anton Enzinger, previously technical manager, is the new managing director of VTU Design Solutions with immediate effect.
The internationally operating VTU Group designs plants for the life sciences and chemical industries with a focus on digitalisation and sustainability. In June 2019, VTU acquired 100 percent of the shares in RED Engineering. As a permanent part of the group, the planning company founded in 2006 now also incorporates VTU in its company name and will be renamed VTU Design Solutions. In the course of this, Anton Enzinger, until now technical director of RED Engineering, will be appointed managing director of VTU Design Solutions. He will lead the company together with the existing managing director Klaus Steinberger.
VTU Design Solutions specialises in state-of-the-art 3D planning and plant design through to assembly coordination. The company perfectly complements the VTU Group, especially in large-scale contracts in the life sciences sector. Here, VTU has established itself as a successful player in the general planning of major investments and has handled projects for the largest groups in the pharmaceutical industry. Holistic 3D planning is a key success factor in a modern, digitalised project environment with ever shorter lead times.
