
Since January 2025, Mark Senten has been the new Managing Director of VTU Engineering in Belgium, succeeding Joris Buffels. In his new role, he will lead the Belgian subsidiary of the international VTU Group.
Mark Senten has over 25 years of industry experience, successfully implementing large projects and taking on leadership roles. He completed his engineering studies at the University of Antwerp and worked at Engie from 1996 to 2018, holding positions such as Project Manager, Operations Manager, Division Manager and EVP in charge of Services for B2B/B2C/B2T. His career also included roles at CTS in Vienna and KH Engineering in Antwerp. From 2022 to 2024, he was already working for VTU as Project Manager for a successful EPCM project in Belgium.
Mark Senten on his new role as Managing Director of VTU Engineering Belgium: "My goal is to quickly achieve clear results and drive strategic development. The focus will be on expanding the Life Sciences sector and targeted expansion into the Chemical sector. Together with our strong team, we will further advance VTU Engineering in Belgium & The Netherlands and seize new opportunities in these growth industries."
