VTU Engineering has acquired the consulting company ifss Business Excellence
The Austrian consulting company ifss Business Excellence is now part of the VTU Group. The technology group develops and plans process systems in the industrial sector – now it has brought strategic consulting in-house: ifss GmbH focuses its range of services on business excellence and is working on its own specialised life science practice.
The new subsidiary focuses on strategy implementation, process performance and digitalization and is highly specialised in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors. Consulting for quality assurance and compliance round off its portfolio. ifss GmbH currently employs around 25 people at two locations: the head office is in Vienna, the second location is in Munich.
As a wholly-owned subsidiary of VTU Engineering, ifss will continue to be run as an independent company and the management will remain with the current managing directors Robert Dannenmaier, Stefan Dannenmaier and Thomas Pirker-Krassnig.
Comprehensive package for customers
VTU Engineering and ifss Business Excellence target the same markets. Customers in the life sciences sector, such as biotechnology, will benefit in particular from their collaboration. “From strategy consulting to engineering and execution – we are very pleased to now be able to offer our customers an even broader, more comprehensive package and to have the impressive consulting expertise of ifss on board,” says Friedrich Fröschl, CEO VTU Group.
